The whole pub, on one screen

Hendra One is pub management software for UK pubs and pub groups. Bookings, guest emails, food safety records, rotas and maintenance share one system and one login for the whole team. It costs £100 a site a month with everything in it, and nothing per cover.

Your own login to four demo pubs, in your inbox in about a minute, for 14 days. Nick rings everyone who tries it.

The Norway Inn in Cornwall runs on Hendra One. Its team of 34 sign in to it, and guests have booked more than 400 tables through the pub’s own booking page since it moved over.

Hendra One at the Bramblewood Arms, our demo pub, on a Saturday night, sped up. The diary, the fridge checks, the waitlist and the rota report into one screen, and each line in the feed is something it records as the night goes on.

What it replaces

A typical pub pays £200 to £400 a month for these separately. None of them share a guest list, a staff list or a login.

Seven parts, and they share what they know. The rota works from the covers forecast, a missed fridge check goes to whoever the org chart says owns it, and a review request checks the guest has not opted out before it sends.

Run a Saturday night at the Bramblewood Arms

Watch 85 seconds of the demo pub on a busy night, then sign in and work the service yourself.

What the film shows
  1. Saturday night at the Bramblewood Arms: 183 covers booked, and every table on one screen.
  2. The phone goes: fourteen for lunch on Saturday 28 November.
  3. Dinner is full, and 12.45 or 1 o’clock would swamp the kitchen. I offer them 1.15.
  4. The Vance party are in early for a birthday. Arrived, seated, and moved to now.
  5. Tonight’s rota is published, with the covers booked against each day.
  6. The week’s wages come to 23.8% of forecast sales, inside our 30% target.
  7. Fridges and freezers logged all day. Closing checks wait for the last one out to sign.
  8. Head office sees all four pubs at once: tonight’s covers, compliance, sales and wages.

Built by Nick Laws, a hotelier who now runs a pub in Cornwall

Nick Laws, founder of Hendra One, behind the bar of the pub he runs in Cornwall

Before the pub, Nick spent his career in big hotel groups, Fairmont and Four Seasons among them, where software quietly took care of the admin. Running a pub, he found the same jobs being done on paper, or across a handful of subscriptions that cost more than a village pub can justify.

So he built one system that does all of it, at one price per site, whatever the size of the pub.

Separate tools doing the same job: £200 to £400

Groups pay the same £100 for every site, so the saving against separate subscriptions grows with each pub. The only other charge is 2.5% on optional extras guests buy online, like a birthday package, and never on bookings, covers or deposits.

Nothing to pay until you’ve moved over: billing starts the day your first pub goes live, with no setup fee. After that it runs month to month on 30 days’ notice, and we move your bookings and guest list across for free.

Questions operators ask us

Can I move from my current booking system?

Yes, and we do the move for you, free. Send us your current system’s standard export and we bring across your future bookings and your guest list, with each guest’s marketing choice intact. You choose the day you switch, and anything unusual, such as two systems or a paper diary, we quote for first.

Is it really SFBB-aligned?

The kitchen module mirrors Safer Food Better Business: the same opening and closing checks, the same corrective-action logic, a daily diary signed with a drawn signature, and the 4-weekly review built on the FSA’s own 12 questions.

What happens during an EHO visit?

You switch on inspection mode and hand the officer a time-limited link to a printable 28-day report: temps, checks, corrective actions and signatures. No binder, no hunting for last Tuesday’s fridge sheet.

Do my guests pay booking fees?

No. There are no per-cover fees, ever, for you or your guests. The only charge beyond your plan is a small commission on optional paid upsells like birthday packages.

How much does Hendra One cost?

Hendra One is £100 per site per month, with every module included and no VAT on top. There are no tiers, no premium add-ons and no fixed-term contract. A typical pub pays £200 to £400 a month across separate vendors for the same job.

Who owns my guest data?

You do. You are the data controller and Hendra One is your data processor, acting strictly on your instructions under a Data Processing Agreement. Your guest list can be exported at any time, and it is never something we can independently use or take away.
